Sandy Hingston, a senior editor at Philadelphia Magazine,
is an award-winning novelist and an award-winning journalist. Her eighteenth
historical romance, The Suitor, will be published as a
lead title by Berkley in July 2002. A graduate of Duke University (go, Blue
Devils!), she is married to a musician and has a 12-year-old daughter and a
nine-year-old son. She lives in Pottstown, Pennsylvania.
